Uh oh ...

... how did this happen? ;-)

Mr. and Mrs. HotPatterns live/work about an hour south of me so I'm hoping the fruits of my fall leap off the wagon will be here by next weekend.

In the meantime, the dress from last post still sits. I haven't been back to the sewing room since last weekend to even look at it. But my knits for the colorblocked dress arrived and are prewashing as I type. I have to say I'm NOT happy with the color of the green since I was expecting a more lime than I received. It'll do and is probably a better winter color, but it's not one of my favorite greens. I hope I'm not about to make another Zillie squatter.

Off to bed so I can get up early and start cutting tissue and fabric.

Now see, you're just doing your part for the economy! And, buying Hot Patterns is a heck of a lot cheaper than Style Arc.

I hope you do finish the Vogue dress. I think it's really pretty, and it's on my list of dresses to make!

Mmmm those "Uh oh" moments just seem to happen... and they're quite common for me too. I love coming home and checking my mailbox everyday waiting for my parcel/s to arrive. It's kind of like Christmas LOL. It's not easy buying fabric online as the colour and/or the texture is not always what you think it's going to be. Sometimes it's better and unfortunately sometimes it's not. Looking forward to seeing your Vogue dress finished as well :)

That happens to us at Publix, a lot! Stuff like chocolate just jumps into the cart!

Fabric.com kept adding things to my cart. I have no idea how $116 happened...
