That top looks really nice on you. I can tell by your post and review that you are tickled pink with it. You WILL get a lot of mileage out of that pattern, changing it up.
I was just talking about how I have trouble rocking belts and now I run across your blog and see how great it looks on you! I am soooo jealous. Seriously, I love that look.
Thank you for each and every comment. I appreciate them all, but I have to be honest and let you know that I'm usually bad about answering questions. I hope you understand that there just isn't enough time in the day to do everything I want to do.

Oh WOW! I adore this top. The fabric, the style and it looks fabulous belted so don't wear it any other way. Look who's a HP girl now. LOL! ;)

ReplyDeleteThat top looks fantastic on you!
ReplyDeleteThat looks great. I broke down and bought the Sunshine top, but probably not much need for it in NC until Spring.
ReplyDeleteLooks fabulous - Myrna
ReplyDeleteThat fits you beautifully! I especially love it belted - fabulous!
ReplyDeleteNice fabric, and the top looks really good belted. It would work with a skirt that way, too.

I love it belted also. Now to figure out which pattern you used because I'd like to make it myself.

ReplyDeleteLove that top and I love anything belted. :)
ReplyDeleteCute top! I like it belted as well. Did you compare it to the Butterick pattern?
ReplyDeleteJust an amazing top, amazing fabric and it looks amazing on you.
ReplyDeleteWHAT AN INSPIRATION to see you sew for your not-so-sized-2 figure!!!
ReplyDeleteI am six feet tall and measure (by Nany Zeiman's standards) a pattern size 22.
I hate altering paterns to fit, and I am afraid of admitting that my a$$ really is THAT BIG. My sway back does not help matters.
But I will be back to lurk here and see you celebrate your talent--at any size!
Thank you SOO MUCH for the inspiration.
I just made my first two Sunshine tops and I love them. Thanks again! http://creabh.blogspot.com/2010/01/hot-patterns-weekender-sunshine-top.html
