Seventeen tracings
Next, adding seam allowances while cutting out in muslin. On the bright side, most of the SEVENTEEN pieces were small and so I was able to use up quite a bit of my "scrap" Swedish Tracing Paper, and then I tossed the rest of the scraps. Now my STP is all nice and neat again. Tomorrow is a day out for the whole family so no more progress until at least Monday.

Thank you for each and every comment. I appreciate them all, but I have to be honest and let you know that I'm usually bad about answering questions. I hope you understand that there just isn't enough time in the day to do everything I want to do.

Congratulations on getting all those pieces traced off. That's my least favorite part!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see this jacket finished, it's going to look fantastic! Thanks for pointing it out too, I might have missed it otherwise. I also have to say that your pants have turned out beautifully - I'm going to have to remember about using a cute inside facing for mine when I get to making some.
Have fun today with your family.
Good job! I can't wait to see your jacket come further along. :) Katharine
ReplyDeleteYou sure do have a lot of patience! I hate tracing off patterns.
ReplyDeleteThis is going to be a cute jacket. I really must resubscribe to Burda WOF (even though it means tracing patterns.)
ohh, you've reminded me that I must, must start tracing/copying my next jacket attempt which I think has almost as many pattern pieces. ugh in a big ugly way
